OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The increasing popularity of the Internet and digital cameras are two reasons experts say they're seeing a huge increase in cases of child pornography.
In August and September, more than 5,100 reports of child pornography on the Internet reported to Adult Sites Against Child Pornography.
Executive Director Joan Irvine says the coalition received about 1,000 reports a month in 2002.
Oklahoma is certainly not immune. This summer, federal agents uncovered what one FBI detective says was the worst stash of child pornography he'd ever seen at an Oklahoma City trailer park.
Assistant US Attorney Randy Sengel in Oklahoma City says arrests and prosecution of child pornographers are on the rise.
Arrests are increasing because law enforcement is getting more resources and more expertise, as well as the fact that there are more offenders.
