MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) _ Jason White threw for four touchdowns as Oklahoma overcame its own mistakes to beat Kansas State 31-to-21 today.
Freshman star Adrian Peterson added 130 yards rushing, with all 26 of those coming in the second half.
Kansas State led three times, including a 21-to-17 advantage with just under ten minutes left in the third quarter.
The Sooners regained the lead when White threw a 15-yard scoring pass to Mark Clayton for a 24-to-21 lead. Clayton added an eight-yard touchdown catch midway through the fourth quarter for the final 31-21 margin.
White finished the game 20-for-31 for 256 yards with one interception.
K-S-U quarterback Dylan Meier finished with 242 yards on 20-for-38 passing but left the game late in the fourth quarter after being knocked down hard by defensive ends Larry Birdine and Jonathan Jackson.
