We begin tonight with a tragic accident in Rogers County, two cars collided on a county road last night, leaving two boys dead and three other teens injured. All of the kids involved attended the same school. Today, friends and family in the close-knit community are still in shock.

"Lovin', good boys, that's what they were."

Dan Brewer was headed home with his own carload of teens when they came upon the crash.

"We knew the cars, we knew the kids."

16-year-old Glen Godsey and 15-year-old Casey Edwards were pronounced dead at the scene.
Looking at the cars, police say it's a wonder anyone survived.

Friends say two of the boys were headed home from church. Their car was going west on this county road and as they approached this intersection the car with Casey, Glenn and three other kids ran the stop sign and the two collided.

The two boys were sitting on the passenger side, crushed in the impact, a badly injured 13-year old girl and 16-year old boy were pulled from the back seat and lifeflighted to a Tulsa hospital.
The driver escaped with an injured arm, he was the only person not wearing a seatbelt.
Police say airbags likely saved the two teen boys in the second car who were uninjured.
At the Oologah-Talala Schools, students were able to talk to counselors or share their grief with classmates. Many parents opted to keep kids home. Educators say the boys were good students and well liked by others.

"We're still small enough here everybody knows everybody and that hits hard with the community."

Dan Brewer's daughter ate lunch with Casey and Glenn everyday.

"She said Dad we won't get to do that no more, and that brings it home, as parents we try to take care of our kids every day, and something tragic can happen."

"We deal with it and we go on one day at a time."
