DALLAS (AP) Oklahoma's Adrian Peterson and Jonathan Jackson and Cole Farden of Oklahoma State are this week's Big 12 players of the week.

Peterson is the offensive player of the week after running for an O-U-freshman record 225 yards to lead the Sooners to their fifth straight win over Texas, 12-to-nothing.

He was also named the Walter Camp national offensive player of the week for his performance.

Jackson had eight tackles and two quarterback hurries in the second-ranked Sooners' over the Longhorns. The O-U defense held Texas running back Cedric Benson, to less than 100 yards for the first time this season.

Farden averaged more than 48 yards on seven punts in Oklahoma State's 42-14 win over Colorado. He had a season-high 63-yard punt and four of his punts were downed inside the Colorado 20-yard line.
