The non-stop rain that's been falling for the past 24 hours caused slick streets on the drive to work Monday morning. Officers say two people were sent to the hospital when a taxi cab slammed into a trash truck just after six o'clock near 11th and Xanthus.
Police said the taxi was headed eastbound and tried to stop, but wound up hitting the trash truck. The man driving the cab and his female passenger were injured.
