(AP) _ Rains that have drenched much of central Oklahoma are expected to continue today, with chances decreasing by late afternoon.
Oklahoma City received more than two inches of rain yesterday with steady rainfall that lasted most of the day. But officials at the National Weather Service in Norman say there were no reports of flooding.
Southeastern Oklahoma received about one inch, while the eastern, northern and western border regions got less than one-half inch.
National Weather Service meteorologist Cheryl Sharpe says there is a 90 percent chance of rain today. Showers are expected to decrease by late afternoon and end tonight.
