OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A series of BASS tournaments for weekend anglers will including an Oklahoma-Arkansas division.
The ESPN Outdoors Bassmasters Series is made up of single-day, weekend tournaments that will begin in January all around the country.
Those advancing to regional championships get to go on to a series championship where the winner will qualify for the Bassmasters Classic.
There will be 16 divisions, each hosting five tournaments apiece. In the Oklahoma-Arkansas division, there will be four tournaments in Arkansas and one in Oklahoma.
Lake Ouachita in Arkansas will be site of the first Oklahoma-Arkansas divisional tournament on February 27th. Oklahoma's tournament is set for June 19th at Grand Lake.
The combined purse for all 86 events will be more than $4-million. $100,000 will go to the top boater in the final tournament and non-boaters will get $50,000.
