OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Two retired FBI agents have written a new book about the Oklahoma City bombing.

``Simple Truths: The Real Story of the Oklahoma City Bombing Investigation'' by Jon Hersley, Larry Tongate and Bob Burke hit bookshelves yesterday.

Hersley and Tongate were the primary agents on the case. They wrote the book with Burke, an Oklahoma City attorney and historian.

Hersley -- an Edmond resident -- and Tongate, of Gladstone, Missouri, say they wrote the book to counter those who contend the attack was a result of wider conspiracy.

He says they have no doubt Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols carried out the April 19th, 1995, bombing alone.

All proceeds from the book will go to the non-profit Oklahoma Heritage Association and the Oklahoma City National Memorial.
