OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Federal prosecutors say a grand jury has indicted a Bethany man for making false statements to get disaster relief funds intended for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Jermaine Lee Milton is accused of filing a false application in order to get more than $4,300 in disaster funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

U.S. Attorney John Richter says Milton claimed his home was in New Orleans and that it was damaged by the hurricane.

Richter says Milton's primary home was actually in Oklahoma at the time Katrina hit New Orleans.

Milton faces up to five years in prison, a $250,000 fine and restitution if convicted.
