TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Christian Colonel drives home three runs and three other players have two RBIs as the Tulsa Drillers rout the Wichita Wranglers 12-0 Sunday.
Tulsa had lost five of its previous six games to drop out of the race for a first-half divisional title in the Texas League.
Colonel's double, his league-leading 23rd of the season, scored Jonathan Herrera with the game's first run. Colonel later added a 2-run home run in the fourth inning.
Corey Wimberly, Matt Marci and Rick Guarno all finished with two RBIs for the Drillers, while starting pitcher Ryan Mattheus allowed four hits and struck out seven in seven innings.
Tulsa and Wichita will continue their series tomorrow night.
