Sapulpa firefighters got a loud wake-up call early Sunday morning. Police believe a man fell asleep at the wheel, hit a culvert in front of Sapulpa’s fire station and crashed into a utility pole. Police say a live power line hit the rural water district's shed, starting a small fire. Firefighters were able to put that out quickly.
There were three people inside the van. One person was taken to a local hospital, another refused medical treatment. Police say the other passenger ran off before officers arrived.
