MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) -- Former McAlester City Manager Randy Green is expected to testify before a federal grand jury investigating former state Senator Gene Stipe. Green is serving a prison sentence on federal embezzlement convictions and was taken Tuesday to the jail in Muskogee.

Green may be asked about the National Pet Products plant in McAlester.

An FBI investigation has included the plant which was built on property Stipe owned. In 2002 Green asked the McAlester City Council to approve $250,000 in city money for the plant.
