A woman is in a Tulsa hospital after a one-car accident Tuesday morning. Tulsa Police say the accident happened around 6 a.m. near 41st and Harvard.
Tulsa Police say the woman was driving northbound on Harvard when she fell asleep at the wheel and hit a utility pole. Police officers believe she was taking a sleep medication.
Her injuries are not life threatening. No one else was hurt.
And a wet road causes another driver to lose control and hit a utility pole just south of downtown Tulsa. It happened around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Three men in a pickup truck were heading west when it started to rain. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver lost control of the pickup truck causing it to run off the road and hit a pole on I-244.
The driver has no license and no one in the pickup truck was hurt.
