LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) _ A sports reporter was kicked out of Sunday's NCAA baseball tournament game between Oklahoma State and Louisville for providing live Internet reports during play.
Brian Bennett of the Courier-Journal in Louisville was approached by an NCAA representative in the bottom of the 5th inning and told that blogging from an NCAA championship event is against NCAA policies.
The officials the revoked Bennett's press credential and asked him to leave.
An attorney for the newspaper says the paper was deprived of its First Amendment right to report from a public facility.
Louisville athletic director Tom Jurich says the school must abide by NCAA rules.
A telephone message left Monday for the NCAA in Indianapolis was not immediately returned.
Louisville won the game 20-2.
