A twister reportedly devastated the rustic Bear Paw Resort near Langlade in northern Wisconsin, and nearby homes might also have been damaged. A county official says the resort was "leveled."
At least five tornadoes have been reported in Wisconsin, and the storms injured at least four people, none seriously.
Hailstones four inches wide reportedly fell in Wisconsin Rapids, knocking out the windshield of a police car according to a dispatcher.
An Otter Tail County, Minnesota, dispatch supervisor says a tornado damaged several lake homes near Elizabeth. No injuries have been reported.
