OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State Transportation Department officials say vandals are spray painting graffiti on the large overhanging signs along state highways. The practice is known as "tagging" and ODOT spokeswoman Terri Angier says the cost of cleaning or replacing the signs range from $1,000 to $15,000.
Angier says with as much traffic as there is on the highways someone must be seeing the incidents taking place. She says drivers can call the Oklahoma Highway Patrol at #55 to report the activity.
