Two drivers waiting at a Tulsa railroad crossing escaped injury after a train got tangled up in some overhead lines. The train snagged low hanging phone lines, snapping two utility poles like toothpicks. One line slashed through the windshield of an 18-wheeler. The driver wasn't hurt. Another car on the other side of the tracks was on the business end of flying support cables. The car was smashed up, but no one was hurt.

"We're investigating the issue with the wind. The wind is very strong today and we want to make sure the cable was the correct height and we've been reviewing some federal guidelines on that," said Tulsa Police officer Matt Harker.

The accident damaged the switching device on the railroad tracks, forcing the train to stay put until it was fixed. Phone service in the neighborhood was knocked out for a few hours.
