KOTV.com was honored Wednesday at the annual Oklahoma Associated Press Broadcasters' news excellence competition. KOTV.com received an â€˜honorable mentionâ€™ for its web site.

News On 6 anchor Omar Villafranca and photojournalist Dominic Armstrong received an â€˜honorable mentionâ€™ for â€œSnow Snarls The BA.â€

News On 6â€™s sister station, KWTV in Oklahoma City won the sweepstakes award for a second year in a row. Sweepstakes awards were determined from point totals based on the number of prizes won in all categories and included second and third place awards. KWTV won first-place awards for enterprise reporting, non-spot news photography and best early newscast.
