OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A former worker at the Oklahoma Health Department received a five-year deferred sentence in Oklahoma County District Court Tuesday after pleading guilty to 18 counts of embezzlement.
Elliott Thompson also paid full restitution of about $140,000 and was ordered to perform 200 hours of community service and pay a fine, court costs and victim-compensation assessment.
