Starting Tuesday, the 29th Street Pedestrian Bridge over the Arkansas River in Tulsa will be closed. Work crews will replace decayed railroad ties with a poured concrete base, topped by brick pavers.

Starting Tuesday, the 29th Street Pedestrian Bridge over the Arkansas River in Tulsa will be closed. Work crews will replace decayed railroad ties with a poured concrete base, topped by brick pavers. Tulsa city officials say crews will also install a new drainage system.
The work should take about 90-days.
