OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Courtney Oberg hits a 3-run home run and Ashley Monceaux has 3 hits as Baylor knocks out Big 12 Conference rival Texas A&M from the Women's College World Series with a 7-4 win Saturday afternoon.
Oberg's eighth home run of the season came off Amanda Scarborough and highlighted a 4-run 3rd inning that broke open the game for the 8th-seeded Bears.
The 4th-seeded Aggies became the second team eliminated, joining Arizona State, which lost 3-1 to DePaul earlier in the day.
Texas A&M's Megan Gibson hit a solo home run off Lisa Ferguson in the 1st inning, but Chelsi Lake put Baylor ahead to stay with a 2-run double in the bottom of the inning.
Baylor will play Northwestern Saturday night in another elimination game.
