OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Delta Air Lines says it will offer a nonstop flight from Oklahoma City to Los Angeles International Airport starting Sept. 5 _ the second nonstop flight from Will Rogers World Airport to LAX.
A United Airlines flight between the two cities started this past September and has been successful, and that is an indicator that the West Coast is in demand as a destination, said Jennifer James McCollum, spokeswoman for the Oklahoma City airport.
``More flight connections are good for Oklahoma City; they are good for everyone,'' she said.
The Delta flight will leave at 7 a.m. and arrive at LAX almost three hours later, at 7:58 a.m. The return flight leaves LAX at 4:45 p.m. and arrives in Oklahoma City at 9:25 p.m.
The Delta flight is the 10th new nonstop flight added to Will Rogers since September.
