The Grand River Dam Authority’s Lake Patrol is busy this summer catching young boaters who are wearing their life jackets. Over the recent Memorial Day weekend, GRDA Lake Patrolman Derrick Bidleman handed out t-shirts to young boaters on Grand Lake who were “caught†wearing their life jackets.
Officials say the campaign is designed to promote life jacket safety. The GRDA Lake Patrol says the campaign will continue throughout the summer.
