OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Here are the conditions at Oklahoma lakes as reported Wednesday, May 30, by the state Department of Wildlife Conservation and lake rangers.

CENTRAL

Arcadia: Elevation above normal and murky. Largemouth bass fair on plastics and spinnerbaits. Blue catfish good on cut bait at the water inlet. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around rocks. Report submitted by Wade Farrar, game warden stationed in Oklahoma County.

Hefner: Water 76 degrees and clear. Largemouth bass being caught on spinnerbaits and plastic worms. White bass being caught on jigs and spinners. Channel catfish being caught on punch bait, stinkbait and cut fish. Crappie being caught around docks on jigs and minnows, Walleye being caught along the shoreline on spinners, jigs, minnows and crankbaits trolling. Overholser: Water 76 degrees and murky. Channel catfish being caught on cut bait and punch bait around rocky areas. Crappie being caught on minnows and jigs around docks. Report submitted by Kelly Roberson, game warden stationed in Oklahoma County.

Thunderbird: Elevation 1/2 ft. above normal and murky. Channel catfish slow. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 4 to 6 ft. on structure. Saugeye good on medium-diving crankbaits, sassy shad and jigs off points. White bass fair to good on minnows and inline spinners. Largemouth bass good in shallow cover on topwater lures. NORTHEAST

Bell Cow: Elevation above normal and muddy. Largemouth bass slow. Channel catfish fair on worms and cut baits. Crappie good off docks on minnows and jigs. Report submitted by Gary Emmons, game stationed in Lincoln County.

Birch: Elevation 1/2 ft. above normal, water 78 degrees . Largemouth bass fair on plastic worms at 8 to 12 ft. Striped bass hybrids good off main lake points. Crappie good at 8 to 10 ft. around brush. Report submitted by James Williams, game warden stationed in Osage County.

Carl Blackwell: Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water 70 degrees and murky. Striped bass hybrids trolling with crankbaits and live shad. Catfish fair on cut bait and punch bait. Report submitted by Jon Cunningham, game warden stationed in Payne County.

Chandler: Elevation above normal and muddy. Largemouth bass slow. Channel catfish slow. Crappie fair off the dam and around the fishing dock on minnows. Report submitted by Gary Emmons, game warden stationed in Lincoln County.

Copan: Elevation 1 ft. above normal and muddy. Crappie fair in shallow waters near rocky banks and brush on minnows, chartreuse tube jigs or black/pink tube jigs. Bank fishing for crappie is currently best on the south end of Washington Cove, east of the boat ramp at Copan Point, the coves and creek around Osage Plains, Endicott's Pond, and under Cotton Creek Bridge. Crappie good below the dam. Catfish good below the dam on shad or liver. White bass fair around the cliffs of Osage Plains. Grand: Elevation above normal and murky. Blue catfish fair on juglines at 10 ft. in main river channels using cut or whole shad. White bass biting good in Elk River area, Governor's Island area using spinnerbaits. Report submitted by Jim Littlefield, game warden stationed in Delaware County.

Greenleaf: Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water murky. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and spinnerbaits along shoreline, riprap and creek channels. Channel catfish good on cut bait and stinkbait on bottom near spillway. Crappie good on minnow and jigs along brush structure, shoreline and fishing docks. Report submitted by Lark Wilson, game warden stationed in Muskogee County.

Hudson: Elevation 1 ft. above normal. Largemouth bass good on soft baits and crankbaits. White bass good around gravel shallow points and trolling with small lures. Channel catfish good on cut shad in the upper end of the lake. Paddlefish good snagging in the upper end of the lake. Report submitted by Steve Loveland, game warden stationed in Mayes County.

Hulah: Elevation 1 ft. above normal and muddy. Crappie fair in shallow waters near rocky banks and brush on minnows, chartreuse tube jigs or black/pink tube jigs. Bank fishing for crappie is currently best in Wa-Sha-She Park and in the river near Rocky Ford boat ramp marina. Catfish good below the dam on shad or liver. Kaw: Elevation 5 1/2 ft. above normal, water 76 degrees and falling. Blue catfish good on worms or cut bait using a rod and reel, jug fishing the rocky shoreline and the upper Arkansas River. Below Kaw Dam: white bass, crappie, blue catfish very good on small jig or spinner worked well for the white bass, and cut bait for the blue catfish. Keystone: Elevation 7.1 ft. above normal, water 70 degrees and muddy. Largemouth bass fair to good on spinnerbaits and salt craws at 3 to 6 ft. along flooded buck brush. Smallmouth bass slow on crankbaits, chunk baits and jigs at 6 to 10 ft. along mouths of creeks and coves. Spotted bass fair on spinnerbaits and crankbaits at 6 to 10 ft. on along steep banks on main lake. White bass good on tube jigs and minnows at 2 to 6 ft. below dam and bridge areas. Striped bass fair on bucktails and sassy shads at 4 to 8 ft. below dam. Channel catfish fair on worms and shrimp at 4 to 8 ft. along creeks and coves. Blue catfish good on cut shad and shad guts at 6 to 10 ft. below dam and mouths of coves. Flathead catfish good on shad and yellow grubs 6 to 10 ft. below dam. Crappie fair to good on minnows and tube jigs at 6 to 10 ft. below dam and deep coves. Report submitted by Larry Sellers, Woodys Bait and Tackle.

Oologah: Elevation 6 ft. above normal and falling, water 70 degrees and murky. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around standing timber suspended at 10 ft. Channel catfish fair on worms and prepared dough baits along rocky banks at 6 to 10 ft. White bass fair on jigs below the dam. Channel and blue catfish fair on shad below the dam. Tenkiller: Elevation 1 1/3 ft. above normal, water 74 degrees and clear. Largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and spotted bass slow with some action on topwaters. Crappie good in brush at 12 to 25 ft. on road runners and fair under lights along the bluffs. White bass good at night on minnows under lights along the bluffs. Catfish good on flip-flops at 20 to 50 ft. on cut bait with some action on stinkbaits or minnows at 15 to 20 ft. Sun fish good around docks on worms at 15 to 20 ft. Webbers Falls: Elevation 3 ft. above normal, water murky. Largemouth bass good on spinnerbaits and crankbaits along creek channels and riprap. Channel catfish good on stinkbait and cut bait on mud flats. Crappie good on minnows and jigs along creek channels, brush structure and dock water. NORTHWEST

Canton: Elevation 1/2 ft. above normal. Walleye excellent drifting night crawlers near underwater islands. White bass and striped bass hybrids fair trolling crankbaits and drifting slabs. Channel catfish good along dam and upper end of lake on live bait and stinkbait. Crappie good along rip rap and in shallow vegetation in upper end of lake. Fort Supply: Elevation above normal, water clear to murky. White bass fair on jigs and spinnerbaits in shallows. Walleye fair on jigs and spinnerbaits below dam. Report submitted by Mark Reichenberger, game warden stationed in Harper County.

SOUTHEAST

Arbuckle: Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water 74 degrees and stained. Crappie good on marked brush piles using minnows and jigs. White bass are chasing shad on top on tiny torpedo and roadrunner jigs. Bass fishing has slowed but catches are being made on Carolina rigs, drop shot rigs and crankbaits. Blue River: Elevation several inches above normal, water 68 degrees and muddy. Largemouth bass fair on minnows and flies. Channel catfish fair on worms and liver. Report submitted by Charles Baker, technician at Blue River Public Fishing and Hunting Area.

Broken Bow: Largemouth bass good in the back of coves on soft plastics and in the main lake off windy points on jerk bait. Catfish fair on juglines and trotlines baited with cut bait. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs in standing timber on the upper end of the lake. Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

Eufaula: Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits in flooded willows and rocky areas. White bass good on rattletraps trolling the flats at 6 to 10 ft. Crappie fair on minnows at 6 to 15 ft. under bridges. Report submitted Ed Rodebush, game warden stationed in McIntosh County.

Hugo: Elevation 1/3 ft. above normal, water 72 degrees and murky. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits. Crappie fair on live minnows, Blue catfish fair on earthworms and dead minnows. Report submitted by Wendell Smalling, game warden stationed in Choctaw County.

Konawa: Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water 70 degrees and clear. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and spinnerbaits along points and weed bed at 5 to 10 ft. Channel catfish good on chicken liver, stinkbait along points at 10 to 15 ft. in the discharge canal. Report submitted by Daryl Howser, game warden stationed in Seminole County.

Lower Mountain Fork River: The powerhouse has been releasing water on a sporadic schedule. Zone 1 good with the best flies being various soft hackles (yellow, hares ear and red fox squirrel). Zones 2 and 3 have been fishable at times, but the reported results have been less than stellar. Many small brown trout have been caught and an occasional nice rainbow trout. Watch for hatching insects and attempt to match them with your fly, otherwise a minnow imitation should be a good bet. Most any small nymph fly, presented properly, should produce some fish. Other good flies have been egg patterns, copper johns, San Juan worms, light cahills and elk hair caddis. Report submitted by Sid Ingram, Beavers Bend Fly Shop.

McGee Creek: Elevation 4 ft. above normal, water 73 degrees and clear. Largemouth bass fair to good on soft plastic lures at 6-15 ft. along rocky shorelines. Channel catfish and flathead catfish fair on live bait on trotlines and throw lines. Report submitted by Larry Luman, game warden stationed in Atoka County.

Murray: Elevation normal, water 78 degrees and clear to the south and muddy to the north. Bass excellent on various baits. White bass good early and late. Report submitted by Jeremy Brothers, state game warden stationed in Carter County.

Pine Creek: Elevation above normal and murky. Bass good when slow rolling crankbaits along rocky points. Crappie excellent on minnows and jigs at the old bridge and spillway. Catfish and drum are being caught in large numbers at the spillway on punch bait. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

Robert S. Kerr: Elevation normal, water 78 degrees and murky. Largemouth bass good on the surface at 5 ft. using topwater baits, spinnerbaits and plastic baits fishing the weed, rock and woody shorelines. Crappie fair at 8 to 10 ft. using minnows fishing the deeper water next to the spawning areas. White bass fair at 6 to 8 ft. using crankbaits and jigs fishing the edge of the current along riprap jetties and the mouth of the Illinois River. Blue catfish good at 3 to 6 ft. using cut bait, worms and commercial stinkbait fishing the rocky areas around the lake. Flathead catfish good at 3 to 10 ft. using live bait on juglines and trotlines also near the rocky spawning areas. Report submitted by Rick Olzawski, game warden stationed in Haskell County.

Sardis Lake: Elevation 1 1/2 ft. above normal. Largemouth bass good on spinnerbaits and artificial lures in creek channels. White bass good trolling around islands. Channel catfish good on cut shad on juglines and trotlines. Crappie fair on minnows around bridges and brush piles. Walleye good. Texoma: Elevation 3 ft. above normal and starting to rise. Water 74 degrees and clear south and murky north. Largemouth and smallmouth bass fair to good on plastic combination baits at 5 to 15 ft. around riprap. Striped and white bass fair to good on live bait at 10 to 25 ft. south half of lake. Channel and blue catfish fair to good on live bait, cut bait and worms at 10 to 15 ft. above the railroad bridge. Crappie fair to good on minnows and jigs at 5 to 15 ft. deep around underwater brush and fish attractors. Sunfish fair to good on worms and small jigs at 5 to 10 ft. along shorelines and fishing docks. Report submitted by Danny Clubb, game warden stationed in Bryan County.

Wister: Elevation normal and muddy. Largemouth bass good on plastic worms and spinnerbaits. Crappie good on minnows and jigs. Channel catfish good on liver and cut baits with jugs and trotlines. SOUTHWEST

Altus-Lugert: Elevation normal. Flood control gates are open to balance continued inflow. White bass have slowed but are still biting in deeper waters off the main swim beach. Striped bass hybrids have also slowed but are also good off the main swim beach. Crappie have slowed near the old fish-o-rama! Report submitted by Sue Hokanson, Quartz Mountain State Park.

Ellsworth: Elevation normal and muddy. Catfish good behind the dam on cut bait. Report submitted by Mike Carroll, game warden stationed in Comanche County.
