The family of a 6-year-old girl killed in a traffic accident Tuesday evening has released her name and a picture. Tulsa Police say Jessalynn Sanders was killed an auto-pedestrian accident in the 2800 block of East Independence.

Police say the girl wandered into the street as she followed her teenage sister and was hit by a pickup truck. The family disputes that, saying their daughter was near the street when she was hit. Sanders was taken to a Tulsa hospital, where she died. The 31-year-old driver of the pickup truck was not arrested. Tulsa Police are still investigating the accident.
