SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) _ Three new members have been elected to the National Museum of Racing's Hall of Fame.
Jockey Jose Santos, trainer John Veitch, and 1997 champion horse Silver Charm were elected Tuesday to the Hall.
Santos rode ``Funny Cide'' to wins in the first two legs of the 2003 Triple Crown.
Veitch trainees include ``Alydar,'' which came in second to ``Affirmed'' in all three Triple Crown races in 1978, and Breeders' Cup Classic Winner ``Proud Truth,'' among others.
Silver Charm won the 1997 Kentucky Derby and Preakness and the 1998 Dubai World Cup,
