TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Vasili Spanos had three RBIs to help Midland to a 7-to-5 victory over Tulsa.

The Drillers (27-23) led 3-to-1 up until the seventh inning, when Spanos and Brant Colamarino hit two-run RBIs to move Midland ahead 5-to-3 Tuesday night. The RockHounds (30-16) got two more runs in the ninth, including an RBI double by Spanos.

Tulsa surged in the bottom half of the frame, getting two runs off a double by Chris Frey, but the Drillers couldn't sustain the rally.

The teams continue their Texas League series Wednesday.
