OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The women's College World Series begins in Oklahoma City on Thursday, but without any teams with state ties.

DePaul, which eliminated Oklahoma in the Norman Regional of the NCAA Tournament over the weekend, starts off with a game against Washington, followed by Arizona State against Northwestern; Texas A&M against Tennessee and Baylor versus Arizona.

The tournament continues through Sunday, with the championship series set for next week.

DePaul shut out the Sooners 3-to-0 on Saturday and advanced after beating OU 7-to-2 on Sunday.
