NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Tracie Adix threw a 3-hitter to lift DePaul to a 3-0 win over Oklahoma Saturday in the first game of an NCAA softball super regional tournament.

DePaul improves to 45-14 and needs one win in two possible games Sunday to win the best-of-3 series. DePaul has not allowed a run in four NCAA tournament games and the Blue Demons have posted shutouts in 11 of their past 15 games.

Third-seeded Oklahoma falls to 55-7 and lost an NCAA tournament game for the first time while playing at Marita Hynes Field.

The Sooners had won their previous 15 such games at home.

The super regional winner will advance to the Women's College World Series, set to begin Thursday in Oklahoma City. Oklahoma last advanced to that event in 2004, DePaul in 2005.
