OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Bradley Suttle and Nick Peoples homer, and Chance Wheeless drives in four runs as top-seeded Texas tied the Big 12 baseball tournament scoring record in a 19-to-10 win against Kansas State.

The Longhorns scored 10 runs in the third inning Wednesday to build an 11-to-4 lead and then sustained a six-run eighth inning by the Wildcats by matching it in the bottom of the inning.

Wheeless had three of the Longhorns' 17 hits and also scored three times, and Big 12 player of the year Kyle Russell drove in a pair of runs.

Texas matched the tournament scoring record set by Oklahoma in a 19-to-17 win against Texas Tech on May 18th, 1997.

That game was also the last time two teams combined to score more runs scored in a game at the conference tournament.

Adam Muenster homered and drove in four runs for Kansas State.
