BUTTE, Mont. (AP) -- Former Oklahoma basketball coach Kelvin Sampson is giving0$ 50,000 to Montana Tech to renovate the school's physical education building.
Sampson began his coaching career at Montana Tech and is now head coach at Indiana,
The gym floor will have Sampson's signature embossed on it.
Montana Tech is an NAIA school and competes in the Frontier Conference.
Sampson coached at Montana Tech from 1981 through 1986 when he left to become an assistant at Washington State. He later became head coach at Washington State before moving on to Oklahoma in 1994.
He was named head coach at Indiana in March 2006.
