UNDATED (AP) -- One woman in Washington, D.C., says gas prices are so high she doesn't even look at the pump.
One man says it "kills" him because he feels like he's just working for gas. Another says he can't change his driving routes, and has no alternative to buying gas.
The Lundberg Survey says the average price of self-serve regular gasoline is now at a record high of $3.18 a gallon. That's up 11-cents over the past two weeks.
The latest figure tops the record of $3.07 a gallon set two weeks ago. Lundberg surveys 7,000 gas stations nationwide.
