OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Unemployment in Oklahoma fell from 4.3% in March to 3.8%April.
The state Employment Security Commission says the half percentdrop is significant but in line with trend seen each year.
The commission says growth in natural resources and mining account for more than 20% of all new jobs with an increasing demand for oil driving the growth. The leisure and hospitality industries was also strong with an increase of more than 2,000 jobs from March to April.
