ATHENS, Ga. (AP) _ The top-ranked Georgia men keep their record perfect after beating Florida in the NCAA tennis championships in Athens.
The Bulldogs (29-0) clinched the match at #3 singles when senior Travis Helgeson beat Nestor Briceno 6-4, 6-1 Thursday.
UCLA will face Georgia in the quarterfinals after beating 8th-ranked Oklahoma State in the final match of the night.
The Bulldogs won the doubles point for the 28th time in their 29 matches, picking up victories at the second and third positions.
In other matches, North Carolina State beat #11 Texas; #2 Virginia beat 13th-seeded Wake Forest and 10th-seeded Illinois knocked off 7th-ranked Mississippi.
