Authorities say they have recovered the body of a teenager missing since he was last seen sitting on a dock at Fort Gibson Lake. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Phillip Paul was with a group of friends who were swimming at the lake Saturday night.
Paul's body was found floating in the lake about 50 yards from the dock.
Wagoner County Sheriff's deputies and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol had been searching the area around the Fort Gibson Lake since Sunday morning after a pair of pants with Paul's identification card and keys were found about 5 feet from the shoreline.
Paul's disappearance comes one year after the death of 18-year-old Jarret Clark, whose body was discovered May 17, 2006, at the Wahoo Bay area of Fort Gibson Lake.
