The suspect in the brutal attack and robbery of a Rogers County pharmacy earlier this week has turned himself in to authorities in Choctaw County. Steven Pierce was being sought in the attack of a pharmacist and employee in Chelsea on Monday evening.
Rogers County authorities say Pierce had family in the Durant and Atoka area and they believed he was hiding in that area of the state. Chelsea Police say Pierce turned himself in to officers in Boswell before 8 a.m. Thursday.
Pierce was taken to the Rogers County jail in Claremore.
Pierce is accused of robbing a pharmacy for painkillers and cash on Monday evening, then beating the pharmacist and employee with a hammer.
