WAGONER, Okla. (AP) _ Authorities searched Wednesday for a teenager missing since he was last seen sitting on a dock at Fort Gibson Lake. Phillip Allen Paul, 18, was with a group of friends who were swimming at the lake Saturday night.
Wagoner County officials searched the area with all-terrain vehicles and on horseback and found a pair of pants with Paul's identification card and keys about five feet from the shoreline, said Wagoner County Deputy Dustin Dorr.
Dorr said authorities learned of Paul's disappearance at about 10 p.m. Saturday while investigating a report of a stolen vehicle.
``They said there was a fourth person with them who had been missing for about three hours,'' Dorr said.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol began assisting with search efforts on Sunday, and searchers dragged the lake and scoured the wooded shorelines of the lake. The OHP continued search efforts on Wednesday, Trooper Betsy Randolph said.
Paul's disappearance comes one year after the death of Jarret Clark, 18, whose body was discovered May 17, 2006, at the Wahoo Bay area of the lake.
