FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) -- John Pelphrey has signed his first two recruits as Arkansas' coach. The school announced Tuesday that forward Michael Sanchez of Springdale Har-Ber and guard Marcus Britt of Forrest City have signed with the Razorbacks.

Sanchez averaged 15.8 points, 13.8 rebounds and 7 assists in his final prep season. Britt signed with Louisiana Tech during the early signing period but received a release when coach Keith Richard was fired.
