OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State lawmakers will have eight times more money to spend than originally estimated. State Treasurer Scott Meacham says corporate income tax collections are up for the past three months and the state now has a surplus of about $175 million.
The original estimate was a surplus of about $18 million.
Meacham says the state's economy isn't growing as fast as it was in recent years but is growing at a healthy pace.
