A busy Muskogee County highway is open again after a deadly chain reaction crash shut it down Tuesday afternoon. Muskogee Police say a tractor-trailer smashed into the back of another big rig on U.S. highway 69 in Muskogee Tuesday. The second truck then smashed into a third semi that was stopped at an intersection.

The truck that caused the accident burst into flames. The driver of that truck died at the scene. His name has not been released.

Another truck driver was taken to a Muskogee hospital.
