STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Three college golf teams from Oklahoma learn their seeding today for the NCAA Central Regional tournament that will be played later this month.
Defending national champion Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Tulsa all are in the 27-team field for the NCAA Central Regional, which will be May 17th through 19th at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois.
OSU is seeded second in the regional behind Alabama. The Cowboys earned an automatic bid after winning the Big 12 Conference tournament title last month.
Tulsa qualified as the champion of Conference USA and the Golden Hurricane are seeded seventh. Oklahoma received an at-large bid and the Sooners are seeded 23rd.
The top 10 teams in the regional will advance to the NCAA championships, which will be played from May 30th through June 2nd in Williamsburg, Virginia.
