STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma State University's two-day run of commencement exercises ended Saturday with morning and afternoon ceremonies for undergraduate students.
Ceremonies for OSU graduate students were held in the arena Friday night. More than 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students were eligible to receive degrees this spring.
Frank J. Williams, the chief justice of the Rhode Island Supreme Court and one of the nation's leading scholars on former President Abraham Lincoln, spoke during the OSU undergraduate ceremonies Saturday.
Other schools holding graduation ceremonies Saturday include Oklahoma City University, Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, St. Gregory's University in Shawnee, Rogers State University in Claremore, Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville and the University of Tulsa.
