Need a fire truck, a backhoe, a bicycle or even a pair of diamond earrings, the City of Tulsa is selling them off. The News On 6's Rick Wells reports those things and more are part of this weekends City of Tulsa Surplus Auction.
Folks from all over were at the City of Tulsa Surplus Equipment Yard looking for a bargain. Friday was preview day for potential buyers, they all got to look over the merchandise without having to bid. And there's a lot to choose from.
"Compressors, weed eaters, mowers that kind of stuff" said Larry Hood with the City of Tulsa.
If you're in the market for a fire truck, ambulances, or any vehicle for that matter, it'll be at the auction on Saturday. But there's more than just automobiles going up on the block. Other items include tools, stereo equipment, golf clubs, fishing poles, hats, coin collections and even diamond earrings. There are also dozens of computers up for sale.
