STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ The Oklahoma State women's basketball team is being named the most improved team in NCAA Division One.

The Cowgirls improved from 6-and-22 and 0-and-16 in the Big 12 two seasons ago to 20-and-11 and 8-and-8 in the league last year.

OSU earned a trip to the NCAA women's tournament for the first time since 1996 and won 20 games for the first time since 1998.
