A parade of bikers rolled through Tulsa on Saturday, but they weren’t showing off their choppers they were raising awareness about child abuse. The bikers ended their ride with a balloon release honoring child abuse victim, Kelsey Briggs. The 2-year-old died in 2005.
The bikers say about 13,000 cases of child abuse were reported in Oklahoma last year, but that's just the tip of the iceberg.
"There are a lot of cases that don't get reported so if we can make people aware of child abuse maybe we can get more cases reported or help stop it completely," said Public Relations Officer Radar.
The "Bikers Against Child Abuse" have made it their mission to travel through the state to empower child abuse victims.
