The Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office rules an April 11th Tulsa police shooting was justifiable use of force under Oklahoma law. The district attorney says Officer Dale White had reason to believe he was pursuing an armed robbery suspect who refused to show his hands or follow commands to stop. The DA says Officer White believed his own safety, as well as the safety of other officers and citizens, was in jeopardy if he didn't act.

The report says even though it turned out that Mario Torres was not armed, and may not be one of the robbers; it did not change the analysis under the law.
