SHIRLEY, Long Island (AP) _ The remaining seven suspects in a Long Island undercover sex sting operation starring Miss America as a teenage girl staying home alone have been arrested. Twenty-year-old beauty queen Lauren Nelson worked with police in Suffolk County to target would-be sexual predators.
The Lawton, Oklahoma, native pretended to be a 14-year-old girl, chatted with men online and agreed to meet them. The operation was taped for Fox television's ``America's Most Wanted'' and will air on Saturday.
Police say four men who showed up to meet Nelson were arrested Friday. They say seven men who engaged in sexually explicit chat and sent pornographic pictures but didn't go to the home surrendered today.
All face charges of attempted dissemination of indecent material to minors.
