The University of Oklahoma and Oral Roberts University sign an agreement on Wednesday that could put more doctors to work in Tulsa. Under the agreement, health students will take basic science and education courses through Oral Roberts University and then transfer to OU-Tulsa for their professional courses.

"Necessity is the mother of invention and there is a need in our city. The need for students to complete degree programs within this community, and this agreement today between OU-Tulsa and ORU is a legendary agreement as I’m concerned,” said ORU President and CEO Richard L. Roberts.

Richard Roberts says the agreement is a win-win situation for students, the universities and the city.
