WATONGA, Okla. (AP) -- An house explosion proves deadly for a Watonga woman.
Fire Chief Mark Huff says 66-year-old Johnnie Buchanan was killed around 10 a.m. Tuesday in the blast, which sent debris flying several blocks away.
The fire chief says state investigators and representatives from natural gas provider CenterPoint Energy are investigating to see if there were any leaks or other problems with the distribution system that may have caused the explosion.
