TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Oral Roberts baseball player Jerry Sullivan is honored Monday by the Mid-Continent Conference as the league's pitcher of the week.

The freshman right-hander from Budd Lake, New Jersey, threw a four-hit shutout last Tuesday as the Golden Eagles beat 10th-ranked Wichita State 4-0.

Sullivan struck out six batters and walked none while recording his first collegiate complete game. He has not allowed a run during his last 14 2-3 innings and has lowered his earned run average to 1.71.
